Next season, CM will continue to be NAC Breda’s main sponsor. CM and NAC agreed the arrangement on Friday 29 January. CM had already signed up for the option of being the main sponsor for a second year when the original deal was signed.

Last year, in Breda’s main market square and under the motto ‘Together to the Premier League’, NAC and CM officially announced that CM would be the main sponsor of the town’s football club for a season. This will continue to be the case for the 2016/2017 season. CM will also continue to collect the money for the NAC season tickets via its payments service

Light App Challenge

“Needless to say, we hope that NAC will be promoted to the Premier League, but whatever happens we will continue to be their main sponsor for the 2016/2017 season,” CEO Jeroen van Glabbeek explains. “The sponsorship exceeded all expectations. This season NAC introduced us to various facets in and around professional football, both in terms of sport and business. Our joint activities, like the NAC Light App Challenge with Avans University of Applied Science and the open day, were also very successful. NAC also raises our profile in the region, which means that we can take on at least 100 new members of staff from Breda and environs next year. What’s more, it’s easy and great to be able to invite people from all over the Netherlands and also from abroad to join us at NAC matches and to visit the NAC Soirée.”

Justin Goetzee, NAC CEO: “The feeling we had last summer was confirmed by the way we have worked together over the last six months and by the renewal of the contract. The chemistry between CM and NAC is excellent. This has led to a very good implementation of the sponsorship agreement and several great activations. We are proud that a fantastic and ambitious company like CM has opted to work together with NAC for the long term. Also, it’s great that we’ve already agreed on this now in January.”

In the context of the contract renewal, CM will make some of the sponsor facilities available to the Week of the Forgotten Child (Week van het Vergeten Kind). The Forgotten Child supports children who are growing up in sheltered accommodation, and advocates that every child has a right to sports and to play. NAC and CM will therefore be inviting 11 children to come and experience a fun, sporting and unique day with NAC on 17 February.
