Field Account Executive, Voice - Germany

The challenge is quickly growing and we have the ambition to rapidly scale our unique proposition of communication channels, mobile payments and cloud software. These communication channels, such as WhatsApp, Apple Business Chat and Voice form the beating heart of our business. Due to the continuous expansion with new channels and our unique position in the market, we are aiming to expand our Voice sales team with an experienced Field Account Executive focusing on the German market.

In this entrepreneurial position you will be responsible for developing sustainable relationships in the German market, which will result in a significant increase in market share. We need a go-to-market sales specialist who understands the VoIP market and furthermore believes in the opportunities that new channels such as WhatsApp for Business and Voicebot technology bring for our customers. You drive and execute the market strategy for new business. In this role you work closely together with the (global) sales and product teams to get the job done. 

You are perfectly comfortable with the ambiguity of a demanding organization in a fast changing eco-system. And logically, you love to operate on the frontier of digital transformation and mobile technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Create and execute a go-to-market plan for the German VoIP market (incl. resellers/partners, contact centers and enterprises)
  • Building a sustainable sales pipeline
  • Hand-over of new customers to our customer success team for (technical) onboarding
  • Account management of newly onboarded customers
  • Organize (online) demo’s and meetings with clients and partners;
  • Attending relevant (partner) events and congresses;
  • Provide marketing with input and requirements
  • Work closely together with the product team to optimize our proposition


What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration or other commercial field;
  • Extensive sales experience in telecoms, contact center and/or VoIP
  • Experience with technology markets / customer contact software SaaS, CPaaS or UCaas is a distinct advantage;
  • You have built a strong network in the industry (with C-level) and know how to use it in your role;
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • You can convince people, negotiate deals and close opportunities;
  • You are an excellent advisor who always sees possibilities to help customers innovate;
  • Ability to think long-term and set a strategy;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in German & English
  • Self-propelling team player;
  • Willing to travel for your job on a regular basis.
