To support the rapid growth and international expansion of our organization we are looking for a Billing Specialist, who has strong accounting skills and can accurately manage all outgoing invoices.  

Location: Breda (HQ).

 

What you’ll do

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes to have a direct contribution to increase the company’s revenue.

As Billing Specialist, together with the team, you run the global billing platform. You are mainly responsible for preparing, drawing up and sending out our client invoices. This concerns a complex invoicing process; no client is the same and every invoice is different. You are able to oversee the invoice process.

In addition to that, you:

  • find out what agreements have been made with the client concerned and whether there are any exceptions.
  • handle incoming customer inquiries, disputes and complex billing issues;
  • monitor the deadlines, maintain internal contact and ensure that the administrative process runs smoothly;
  • manage and monitor finance completeness checks, in terms of contract, price and subscriptions;
  • provide regular, accurate reports of billing data;
  • make sure that the tax process runs well.

Moreover, you will assist with projects like automation and improving our billing and collection platform, so we can foresee our future growth.

In this role you will be reporting to the Lead Billing & Collections. You will work closely together with the other two Billing specialists (your direct colleagues) and the other Finance teams.


What you offer

  • Bachelor in Finance / Accounting /Business Administration or comparable;   
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience in billing, accounts receivable or other relevant accounting position(s);
  • Knowledge of invoice / AR processes and modules is strongly preferred;
  • Practical experience with accounting software is a pre;   
  • Very accurate and detail-oriented;
  • High level of critical thinking and logical analysis;
  • You are an open and out-going personality, with excellent communication skills, in English (fluent) and Dutch (strongly preferred);
  • A resilience mindset, the ability to find creative solutions to problems and challenges.
