Widely considered to be one of the most forward-thinking festivals, Le Guess Who? exists to promote sounds that are often overlooked and to platform fresh perspectives on what is possible in music. Artists from all over the world offer insight into the unprecedented diversity of human creativity.
Le Guess Who? returns 6-9 November to Utrecht, The Netherlands. The festival now reveals its full 2025 line-up, after previously announcing festival curators Amirtha Kidambi, Asher Gamedze, Edna Martinez, gyrofield, Lonnie Holley, Tianzhuo Chen, Valentina Magaletti and Ziúr, as well as performances by The Congos, Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali, SUNN O))), Unwound, Saul Williams & Carlos Niño, Lido Pimienta and more.
BATEKOO x Los Angles
On Friday, 7 November, Brazilian collective BATEKOO and Amsterdam-based collective Los Angles present a club night at De Helling celebrating queer communities.
BATEKOO is dedicated to creating safe, creative spaces for marginalized LGBTQIA+ and Black communities in Brazil and beyond. Los Angles presents and nurtures the talents of trans artists, showcasing many worlds of queer expression and creativity. Together they present a program featuring Linn da Quebrada, Mina Galán, Miranda, Juju ZL and smother b2b YoungWoman.
?
At the heart of Le Guess Who? is discovery: the act of seeing, finding, and gaining knowledge of something previously unknown to you. Question yourself: how much do you need to know about something to enjoy it? How closely are you listening if you already know what to expect? During each festival day, Le Guess Who? presents a secret performance on one of its main stages. These artists are a surprise, so lean in and listen.

Joining the Le Guess Who? 2025 program are a.o. pianist, composer and vocalist Hania Rani, introducing her alter-ego Chilling Bambino and taking her listeners on a sonic adventure through dark-tinted electronica and hypnotic rhythms; Ghanaian legend Ata Kak, who takes the stage with his new album, his first new work since 1994; Italian musician Daniela Pes and composer and producer IOSONOUNCANE, presenting a special collaborative and completely original set; Le Guess Who? 2018 guest curator Devendra Banhart, who returns to the festival for a stripped-back, career-spanning solo show; also returning is Sudanese multidisciplinary artist MAHA, who delivered a stand-out performance at Le Guess Who?’s freely accessible city festival U? in 2024; Smerz, a Norwegian duo that operates at the intersection of genres, drawing inspiration from classical compositions, DIY pop and the experimental edge of computer music; Tunisian and Dutch composer and performer Skander Jaïbi, presenting his debut album Who has the right to closure?, together with choreographer and dancer Alicia Verdú Macián, Utrecht’s string ensemble Flare Quartet and the Choir Lex et Gaudium; and Maria Alice, an inimitable queen of mornas and coladeras—genres that set the mood of Cape Verdean nights.
