Nikkie Hofland’s Swipe & Shop, the so-called Tinder for fashion, came out as a winner of the Mobile Convention Amsterdam Start-up program.
Nikkie Hofland founded the mobile app Swipe & Shop, which lets its users swipe through fashion items like clothing. It’s been setup to work just like Tinder, but for fashion. Users can swipe through all the newest collections of their favourite fashion stores.
The app lets people simply swipe right to keep lust-worthy fashion items and swipe left to send them packing. Items people select are saved to a personal wish list which is then accessible to buy via both the app and the Swipe & Shop website.
The audience formed the jury and decided that, of five, Nicky’s pitch at Mobile Convention Amsterdam was the most promising. By winning the start-up program Nicky has won free entrance to the CM platform, including setting up support for mobile campaigns.
