In order to initiate a conversation with a consumer using WhatsApp, you need to create a template and have your messaging approved by WhatsApp.
Message templates can be requested in the WhatsApp section of the Channels app, once you have requested a WhatsApp for Business channel. There is a maximum of 250 templates per account. We have created a detailed user guide to walk you through the various steps.
Initially your channel will have a limit of sending 1000 templated messages per day but this will rise as you make more use of it.
