How do I set up a Payment component in Pages?

When you have a payment method linked to your account you are able to add and configure payments in your Pages. 

The Payment components consists of the following components that need to be configured:

Payment solution

​You have to define what payment solution provider you want to use. Depending which solutions are configured for your account you may see one or multiple options here.

Payment information​

Fixed / Adjustable You can decide to define the amount to be paid, or leave this open for the user to determine.

Amount​ In case you choose a fixed amount you have to specify which amount to use, or use a merge tag to give the amount.

​Currency​ You ​must define in which currency the amount has to be paid.

(Adjustable) Default amount If you want specify a default amount for an adjustable payment link you can fill this out. If you leave this empty there will be no value filled.

(Adjustable) Minimum This is the minimum amount for the payment that will be accepted.

(Adjustable) Maximum This is the maximum amount for the payment that will be accepted. It may be wise to set a maximum that is in line with the limitations of the payment method you are using. For example: some banks allow €250 or €500 as a maximum to be paid via an app.

Description The description is a user recognizable description of the item they are paying for. For many banks this is shown in the overview of payments.

Order ID The order ID is an identifier that is used by the merchant to recognize which order this belongs to. In some cases this has to be unique.

Button Text This is the text that is shown on the payment button.

Payment processing

​​Success​ When the payment was succesfully completed users will returned to this section or external URL.​ The payment provider determines whether the payment was succesfully completed.

​​Failed​ When the payment was failed users will returned to this section or external URL.​ A payment could fail because the user doesn't have sufficient credit, or the payment is rejected by the payment provider.

Expired​ A payment is only valid for a certain period of time. The length depends on the payment provider. However, when users take too long to complete the payment the payment provider will close the connection and return users to this section or external URL

Cancelled​ A payment can be cancelled by the user. A cancellation is always triggered through a user action. This means the user has decided explicitly not to complete the payment
