The Challenge

To support the rapid growth and international expansion of our organization, we are looking for a hands-on Bid & Proposal Manager with excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Bid & Proposal Manager, you are responsible for winning tenders, by determining the optimal tender strategy in which quality, design and price are optimally coordinated.


In this role you will be part of the Bid & Proposal Desk team, part of Central Sales, located in Breda (HQ). You will be working alongside your colleagues from this team, Sales, Legal and Finance.

What you’ll do

As Bid & Proposal Manager you will be responsible for the entire tender process to ensure that CM.com produces the highest quality tenders with maximum efficiency. You will oversee the whole life cycle, from identifying and converting significant business opportunities, to supervising and delivering tender responses and continually reviewing the bid management process.


  • Work closely together with Sales, Legal and Finance to manage all tender responses and ensure all tender packs are complete;
  • Understand the tender requirements and ensure the response is the correct approach to the tender request;
  • Manage third parties involved in the tender response and ensure their high quality and timely responses;
  • Own, compile and ensure the production high quality and creative tender responses;
  • Ensure the timely progression of the bid response;
  • Own the quality of the data in the tender, ensuring all specifications and data elements are accurate;
  • Create and manage the tender program, ensuring milestones and deadlines within the tender process are met;
  • Create and then contribute to and extend the tender knowledge base;
  • Lead lessons learned sessions from tenders to continually improve the tender process;
  • KPI analysis on tender process;
  • Spotting and qualify new sales opportunities;
  • Support the sales team and various inside sales activities as required.



We are looking for


  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration or similar field of study preferred;
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ of work experience in tender / bid management and a similar position; ideally with a tech or SaaS based company;
  • Hands-on approach; you like to be responsible for the specific bids and delivering bid responses;
  • Excellent communication skills, in English and Dutch; both written and spoken;
  • Experience with project management; you are a excellent project manager;
  • Commercial drive;
  • Good organisational skills and time management skills;
  • Extremely accurate, excellent analytical skills, critical and attention to detail;
  • Ability to efficiently plan, prioritise and co-ordinate activities;
  • Experience within the technology markets SaaS / CPaaS is a distinct advantage;
  • Located in travel distance of our HQ or other offices in the Netherlands is preferable.
