The Challenge

To further increase the growth of our UK Sales team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to support our UK expansion. In this role you will be part of the UK team, located in London. As Business Development Representative you will focus on a subset of CM.com solution’s and help our brand reach new audiences. You will be the first point of contact for prospects in the UK and it’s your responsibility to gather intelligence and profile relevant prospects and turn them into opportunities. You will search for, find, target, generate and qualify leads (including ‘cold’ leads), based on inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. You excel in spotting the perfect organizations and contacts and developing great relationships over the phone and email.

 

What you’ll do

In addition to developing your consultancy and social selling skills, you will responsible for:

  • developing C-level business opportunities using existing and new CRM data.
  • follow-up of inbound leads through a variety of tools like, phone, email and social channels;
  • arranging appointments / meetings for your colleagues;
  • preparing pipeline and forecast reports;
  • identifying key decision makers and buying cycles within key target accounts
  • organize demo appointments with prospects;
  • ensure that our CRM is always up to date

The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to show off their entrepreneurship and create sales ready leads and have the confidence to work independently. The success in your role is reflected in the number of sales ready leads and opportunities you are able to create.


We are looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in (direct) enterprise sales, including cold interactions;
  • Commercial drive;
  • Your communication skills are above market standards;
  • Personable and confident communicating with contacts in person and on the phone;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Experience within the technology markets SaaS / CPaaS is a distinct advantage;
  • Experience with conversation / customer contact platforms is a plus
  • Located within travel distance of our London office.
