The Challenge

To handle the growing market demand for conversational commerce channels like WhatsApp Business, Apple Business Chat and Google Rich Business Messaging, we are looking for a Sales Manager to drive our Conversational Commerce Sales team.

Conversational commerce is the intersection of using social messaging apps and shopping via mobile devices. As a Sales Manager you will have an end to end scope. Meaning that you will still be involved in business development but also drive the success of your team towards a higher level; lead by example!


What you’ll do

You will be responsible of a fast growing team of 8 people. On an operational level you will work with your team to qualify leads. Your focus will be on larger enterprises and more complex sales processes. In the meantime you will guide the team to qualify all the leads and connect with Marketing and R&D. Your main task is to convert qualified leads into committed clients. On a tactical level you will lead your team to success. Driving sales, creating sales plans, target settings and coordinating with our R&D department. Setting team goals, coach and motivate the team.

In addition to these activities, you are mainly concerned with:

  • Interacting with multiple levels in Enterprise organizations;
  • Complex sales processes;
  • Measure performance of the team and set goals accordingly;
  • Recruit new team members;
  • Use our CRM (Dynamics) as your friend and keep him up to date;
  • Make customers fall in love with your knowledge to help innovating their business.


What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 5 years’ (direct) sales experience;
  • Track record in coaching/coordinating/managing a team to success;
  • Experience within the technology markets SaaS, CPaaS or UCaas is a distinct advantage;
  • Communication skills above market standards;
  • Great convincing, negotiating and closing skills;
  • Fluent Dutch and English in written and spoken; any other language is a plus;
  • Available for 40 hours a week
  • Internal title is ‘(Sales) Lead’
