To help us achieve this mission we are looking for a Senior Product Owner in our Point Of Sale (POS) -Gateway department.


What you’ll do

Payplaza is an innovator within Europe if it comes to mobile payment terminals. We are specialized in the complex nature of payment processes and our mission is to make payments easier, faster and better for everyone that uses our product.

The POS-Gateway department that you will join is responsible for managing the life-cycle of various payment terminals and their custom logic to connect to our in-house developed back-end system.

As a Product Owner within POS-Gateway you will support, advise and improve internal processes for the other teams and departments. You will be the linking pin between the dedicated development team and the internal organization and sometimes external clients. You make sure all necessary information is shared and transferred among the teams and stakeholders. As product owner you spend time with the various stakeholders and external customers to build and gather requirements. So you understand the business needs and translate the requirements. You own the product roadmap, backlog, and steer the team in their priorities for development sprint. You ensure that a product gets specified, designed and thereafter created, tested and deployed on schedule and meeting specifications.

 

What you offer

  • Bachelor or Master degree within Business Administration, Information Technology or comparable;
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • You have a passion for IT and technology;
  • Experience in the Payment industry is required;
  • Experience with life cycle management of both physical products and software products is desired;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
  • You live in travel distance of our Amsterdam office.
