We are currently scaling Voice and its related products globally and to help us achieve this, we are looking for an experienced Voice Engineer. 

What you’ll do

The Voice team focuses on building a global platform which enables our customers to make and receive calls via SIP Trunking, WebRTC or APIs. Our proposition offers solutions for various customer segments, including customer contact organizations, enterprises, SaaS, resellers and ICT companies.

As part of the Voice team, your main priority will be to ensure our innovative voice platform remains dependable and scalable. We have built an in-house platform based on open source technology, providing us and our customers with full control and flexibility. Next to providing stand-alone voice connectivity, we focus heavily on integrating our voice capabilities with our software solutions. This includes early-market innovations such as voice-driven chatbots and webRTC based calling in our Contact Center software. Therefore your ideas and technical knowledge will be an important contribution to the ongoing development of the Voice platform as an important part of our business.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining our voice platforms. This includes monitoring, back-up, upgrades, installations, routine testing and failover features;
  • Third level support to handle complex issues and requests;
  • Analyzing problems and change requests;
  • Aid the further development of our core network in terms of scalability and integrating new elements;
  • Projects include planning, developing and implementing new features and components;

What you offer

  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Network & Infrastructure or comparable;
  • Relevant working experience as Voice Engineer, Software Engineer or System Engineer;
  • In-depth knowledge of VoIP and protocols like SIP, RTP and WebRTC;
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and programming (Ansible, Python, Bash, etc.);
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases;
  • Knowledge of open-source platforms such as Asterisk, Kamailio or Freeswitch is desired;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You are open to travel 2 days per week to our office in Breda (HQ);
  • You are available for at least 32 hours in the week.
