To support the rapid growth and international expansion of our organization we are looking for an Assistant to the CFO, to support the CFO and work with stakeholders across the company.

What you’ll do

In this position you are responsible for providing complete organizational and administrative support to the CFO and Finance organization. We are looking for someone who can bring overview and structure into deliverables and processes of the finance organization and knows how to keep track of progress. In doing so, you will help the Finance organization achieve its ambitious improvement plan to support a rapidly growing international organization.  

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Develop activity roadmaps and deliverables for all Finance units;
  • Work on and coordinate multiple projects on behalf of the CFO and finance organization; ensure a correct planning and follow-up on tasks;
  • Time management and calendar planning;
  • Mailbox management; take appropriate actions and set the right priorities;
  • Representing the CFO in contacts with internal and external parties;
  • Assist with preparing financial reports by collecting and analyzing information;
  • Coordinate arrangements and prepare expense reports;
  • Create, maintain and update PowerPoint presentations and other external communications.


As Assistant to the CFO you will be reporting to the CFO. You will work closely together with the Finance teams and internal organization. 


What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Finance / Accounting /Business Administration / Economics or comparable;  
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a similar position or administrative capacity, preferably within finance; 
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and works fully digitally;
  • Affinity with financial matters and figures;
  • Experience with project management;
  • Devoted to your job and tasks and flexible in working schedule if needed;
  • Professionalism and high degree of discretion; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Very organized and detailed-oriented, with strong commitment to accuracy;
  • Flexibility and multi-tasker; successful when handling multiple critical requests;
  • Ability to operate and take initiative independently when needed; displays good judgment and decision-making abilities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and across functions;
  • Excellent communication skills: you can communicate up and down the organisation and with external stakeholders. Your English is fluent and Dutch is strongly preferred;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
