To help us achieve this mission we are looking for a Senior System Engineer with a natural interest of automating processes. Gapping the bridge between Development and IT. Also known as ‘DevOps engineer’, Cloud engineer or other synonyms.
As a Senior Systems engineer you will work in the Cloud engineering team, the technical heart of CM.com. Together with the team you will be responsible for all hardware and related software to have an optimal Communications Platform (CPaaS) both for internal and external usage. We have multiple core data centers based in the Netherlands but also data centers in Europe, South Africa and the Asia Pacific region and we are growing towards international coverage.
In this role your focus will be on automation within the global private cloud of CM.com. Automating processes in deployments or orchestrating multiple improvements to have a fully automated process, such as the automation of the test builds. You will work closely together with 15 development teams in Breda but also our dev teams in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Enschede and Maastricht to see how we can migrate, integrate and optimize processes.
You should apply for this role if you love to optimize and automate processes. Like to script (for example in Puppet, Ansible or Salt), strong understanding of VMware and a good understanding of network operations.
