All major chat apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Apple Business Chat and WeChat are opening up new business applications with integrated payment possibilities. We are uniquely positioned to enable our business customers to connect with their audience through these mobile communication channels.
As a System Engineer you will work with two other colleagues for our Payments division. A innovative part of CM.com and currently focusing on Mobile Payments solutions. Together with the team you will be responsible for all hardware and software related issues and updates. This in order to have an optimal Communications Platform (CPaaS) both for internal and external usage. We have multiple core data centers based in the Netherlands but also data centers in Europe, South Africa and the Asia Pacific region that provide services for our Private Cloud.
All switches, routers and firewalls of CM.com are installed, managed and maintained by our own System Engineers. Just as our worldwide backbone including our own Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) cloud. All configurations are deployed using api’s and various scripting tools.
You will be focusing on continuously improving our network, troubleshooting throughout the organization and key projects for safety standards (PCI DSS). In close collaboration with our product managers, developers and other colleagues you add value to our core system. Automating scripts, improving our overall security and helping our developers deploy new features is what you do.
Within CM.com we use the latest techniques. As a partner of VMware we are exploring new ways to drive innovation.
