How does iDIN work?

iDIN is similar to the way consumers use internet banking. For example, if they want to make a purchase in your webshop and choose iDIN as the online identification method. They would log in using the banking credentials they’re familiar with which allows your webshop to verify their data.

You decide which data you want to receive from the consumer.

These may include:

  • Bank Identification Number (BIN)
  • Name
  • Address
  • Place of residence
  • Date of birth
  • Age check (18+)
  • Gender
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address

Check out the video (in Dutch) to see how the consumer uses iDIN.
