Le Guess Who? Releases Concert Film of Stereolab Live at 2023 Festival

Subtitled ‘A Celebration of Sound’, Utrecht’s Le Guess Who? has grown into a leading international festival, known for the inspiring way in which groundbreaking music is presented. Recently, Le Guess Who? celebrated the 100th festival recording being included in its online recordings archive. Now, the festival is elated to share the concert film of guest curators Stereolab live at Le Guess Who? 2023.

Anglo-French avant-pop group Stereolab have been hailed as one of the most influential and fiercely independent groups of the 90s, with their influence reaching far beyond that decade. For Le Guess Who? 2023, they curated an eclectic program, including ESG, James Holden, Bombino, Kali Malone feat. Lucy Railton and Stephen O'Malley, and Irreversible Entanglements, amongst many others. Stereolab themselves were one of closing acts of the festival. The concert film of their performance features the tracks Lo Boob Oscillator, Miss Modular, Mountain, and Delugeoisie.

“When I say we are playing Le Guess Who?, people's faces light up” - Lætitia Sadier in conversation with The Quietus

Watch the concert film, directed by Dammes Kieft and sound recording by Marc Broer.
