CM.com expands its offering with the introduction of Apple Messages for Business

Clients of CM.com are now able to use Apple Messages for Business, a new way for customers to communicate directly with companies using the Messages app on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. CM.com is a Conversational Commerce platform that connects enterprises and brands to the mobile phones of billions of consumers globally. The company provides mobile messaging channels combined with a Customer Data Platform and other platform features.

Jeroen Van Glabbeek (CEO) – “Apple Messages for Business offers a powerful, engaging new way for businesses to connect with their customers wherever they are and when they want using the Messages app on Apple devices. Businesses that use CM.com can easily sign up to try Apple Messages for Business beta.”

With Apple Messages for Business, CM.com can offer its clients a seamless and interactive experience, and let consumers initiate and continue a conversation when it’s convenient for them. With the integration of smart automation and chatbots, businesses can put an end to waiting lines and customers being put on hold, making it an ideal solution for businesses that interact with consumers on a daily basis.

With Business Chat, customers can always reach a live person and are always in control of whether they share any contact information with a business.

To start an Apple Messages for Business conversation, customers can tap the Messages icon on a brand’s website, in their iOS app, through their email, or even directly from iOS Search. In iOS 13, when a user taps to call supported businesses, iOS offers a suggestion to start a Business Chat instead. If they choose to message, a conversation with the brand’s agents will open instantly in the Messages app, and users can take their time responding when it’s convenient.

Apple Messages for Business is now available in beta for users and businesses worldwide, and is built into iOS 11.3 and higher. The new chat suggestions feature is available with iOS 13 and higher.
