QR codes: something for the museum or the key to a digital payment age?
For quite some time now QR codes have been a part of the consumption society. You can find a QR code on milk packaging, clothing receipts and concert tickets. The code works like a barcode which you have to scan with a smartphone, allowing information to be shared easily, quickly and effectively. Unfortunately, in many cases the relevance of a QR code is lacking. And they seemed to have ended up in the museum. But nothing is less true. The QR code made his comeback through payments!
