How do I add or remove a language in my project?

You can add or remove languages to your project via Projects > Settings.

To add a language, select a language from the "Cultures" drop-down menu. The enabled languages will show in a blue bubble. To delete a language, simply click the 'x' on the language bubble.

When selecting a language from the drop-down list, you will notice a solid green circle or green outline circle to show you whether it uses full NLP or basic NLP.

  • Languages with full NLP (solid green circle) have all the engine's NLP functionalities such as autoCorrect and Lemmatization.

  • Languages with basic NLP (green outline circle) do not have these functionalities but can be used for FAQ search projects.

If you make any changes to your project’s languages, be sure to click the “Update settings” button at the bottom of the settings page to save your changes:

Basic NLP includes stemming & lemmatization – this is needed for basic production.
Full NLP includes language-specific rules for cleanups, overrides, and rephrase.

Note: Languages that are not on this list, can currently only be used in FAQ projects, so without an open search for users. This is because in an FAQ project, no natural language processing is needed. The Questions are predefined, so recognition is strictly based on a keyword search.
