The iD stands for iDentify and IN stands for logging IN. With iDIN you can identify persons online and log in on websites of companies and institutions. With iDIN customers can be identified online at an institution or company using their own bank. Working with the login methods of that bank, such as e.dentifier, TAN code, scanner, random reader, digipas or identifier. Similar to internet banking; the customer is redirected to the secured login page of his own bank. The login means are used at their own bank and their details don't end up with other organizations.
