Strengthen Position in Music & Live Industry

The Music & Live industry has been a major focus for CM.com for several years. What once started with text messaging for nightclubs and disco's, later evolved into a broad proposition in supporting a unique mobile visitor experience before, during and after an event that includes a proprietary Customer Data Platform, Marketing Automation, Customer Service Tooling, event apps to even mobile payments.

Since the acquisition of Appmiral in 2021 - one of the largest event app builders in Europe - the international presence and product offering for the Music & Live industry has grown strongly. With the previous cooperation as a foundation, the partnership with multiple CM.com solutions can be further strengthened. Besides Mobile Marketing Cloud - including Customer Data Platform - ESNS will focus more on digital interactions with individual visitors.

Partnership With Focus on Digitization

From moment one, there was a click between both parties, who both have the ambition to inspire the traditional event industry with digital innovations. Every ESNS visitor will now be introduced to CM.com's mobile solutions. Equally, CM.com will have the space to share their experiences and those of industry clients through Keynote and panel discussions.

"ESNS has been looking for some time for a partner that can support the digitization and optimization of the visitor's customer journey. The cooperation with CM.com enables us to perform the platform function we have even better because we can share knowledge with our supporters in a more efficient and targeted way. Not only in terms of our own communication, but also precisely about what is technologically possible when technology is used to enrich the customer journey." said Nadine Zijp - Head of Business & Development ESNS

"As a partner of ESNS, we can further position the CM.com brand in the Music & Live industry. In addition, we are extremely proud that all delegates and festival attendees will get to interact with our event technology. ESNS is known as a breeding ground for national and international talent. In recent years, it has also had the ambition to show emerging innovations and technologies to the industry. Therefore, CM.com and ESNS are an ideal match to put our shoulders under this Dutch project together", says Robin Van den Bergh - Managing Director Appmiral

A Household Name in the Music Industry

Since 1986, Groningen has been transformed into the pop music capital of Europe in January during Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS). As a conference and showcase festival in one, ESNS attracts nearly 40,000 visitors annually. A large portion of these head mainly to the dozens of venues in the evening to enjoy up-and-coming bands, where promoters also feast their eyes on their event programming. During the daytime conference, music professionals from all over Europe gather at Oosterpoort to network and discuss the latest developments in the industry, such as sustainability and digitalization.
