HALO Introduces WhatsApp Voice

Customers are increasingly communicating through apps rather than traditional phone calls. That is why we are introducing an important expansion of HALO today: Voice Agents can now automatically handle incoming calls made through WhatsApp. We are also looking back at improvements we have added to HALO over the past months. Developments that bring voice and chat closer together and help organizations automate faster and more consistently.

Whatsapp Voice: A New Channel That Fully Integrates Into HALO Voice

WhatsApp Voice is fully integrated into HALO’s existing voice logic. Voice Agents recognize incoming WhatsApp calls and use the same flows, tools, knowledge and context as they do for traditional phone calls. This creates one unified way of working, regardless of which channel a customer uses to call.

Because WhatsApp is already used daily, this immediately makes voice automation more accessible. Customers can simply place a call through the app, while HALO receives and handles the conversation. Teams do not need any additional telephony setup and can manage all their voice interactions from one central platform.

Thanks to recent improvements to our voice technology, WhatsApp Voice also operates at a high level of quality from day one. We have refined audio processing, improved the speed and accuracy of language detection, and strengthened context transfer between steps in a call. HALO also supports automatic call summaries and full insights via HALO Call Recordings, enabling teams to monitor the quality of WhatsApp calls just as effectively as traditional phone interactions.

Together, this ensures that WhatsApp Voice is not a standalone channel, but a natural extension of HALO Voice. Customers can choose the channel they prefer, while organizations benefit from one unified workflow, one set of flows and one central platform for all voice automation.

What We Have Further Expanded In Halo Over The Past Months

In addition to WhatsApp Voice, we have introduced several updates in recent months that make the platform smarter, more consistent and easier to manage.

Smarter reasoning

HALO now handles multi-step customer questions more effectively, retains context longer and constructs answers in a more natural way. This results in fewer handovers, fewer corrections and a higher first time resolution. The updated Test Center shows exactly how HALO arrives at an answer, making optimization easier.

Faster building in the HALO Studio

The Studio has been renewed step by step, with faster ways to edit tools, an improved debugger and automatic versioning. This allows teams to build more quickly and experiment more safely, without technical barriers.

More visibility in every interaction

The transparency layer has been deepened. Teams now see more clearly which context HALO uses and which actions have been taken, making optimization, audits and troubleshooting much faster.

One Platform For AI-driven Conversations

With WhatsApp Voice as a new channel and a series of improvements introduced in recent months, HALO is now the complete platform for AI-driven interactions.

Voice and chat move to the same level
Customers choose how they want to get in touch
Teams automate more intelligently
Businesses grow on one central platform

WhatsApp Voice makes HALO more accessible.
The improvements of recent months make HALO more powerful.
Together, they form the foundation for AI that truly collaborates with teams.

AI Is Getting Smarter and More Independent. How Do You Stay in Control?

More and more companies are rolling out AI agents that go far beyond generating content or answering simple questions. They handle customer requests, update systems, trigger workflows, and even complete transactions. This brings speed, efficiency, and relief from manual, repetitive work. But once AI starts doing instead of merely assisting, something fundamental shifts. You need more than clever technology. You need a clear way to stay in control of what it does, why it does it, and the limits within which it can operate. This is where AI governance comes in. Not as a tick-box compliance layer, but as a practical foundation that keeps AI predictable, explainable, and safe as it becomes more autonomous.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been in development for decades, but the way we use it today has changed dramatically. With the advent of ChatGPT and other applications, AI has suddenly become tangible for the general public. While it was previously used primarily for specific, often invisible applications (think fraud detection in banking or predictive maintenance in industry), it now actively assists in content creation, enhancing customer experiences, and streamlining processes. Within customer experience, three forms of AI are particularly relevant: generative, agentic, and predictive AI. In this article, we’ll break them down and explain how to leverage them effectively.

AI Agents in Real Estate: Streamline Inquiries and Deliver a Better Buyer Experience

In today’s competitive global real estate market, agencies are flooded with inquiries on listed properties. Buyers expect instant answers about availability, pricing, and next steps — often outside office hours. For real estate agents, this creates a heavy workload: handling repetitive questions, scheduling viewings, and informing disappointed buyers when a property is already sold or oversubscribed. Without automation and smart workflows, agencies risk being overwhelmed, leading to frustrated buyers and missed opportunities for meaningful interactions. HALO, CM.com’s AI-powered engagement platform, helps real estate companies streamline these processes. AI agents work 24/7, provide human-like responses, and handle routine tasks instantly. This frees agents to focus on what matters most: building relationships and guiding serious buyers through the transaction.
